The Nisga’a Nation is seeking community input on the development of a new piece of legislation titled the Nisga’a Language and Culture Act. This proposed Act aims to strengthen, revitalize, and protect lip algaxam’ (Nisga’a language) and lip wilaa loom’ (Nisga’a culture) for current and future generations. We invite all Nisga’a citizens, elders, youth, and community members to share their perspectives, priorities, and recommendations as we shape this important legislation.
