FirstVoices: Nisg̱a’a Community Portal
A partnership between First Voices and WWNI, the First Voices: Nisg̱a’a Community portal is an online Nisg̱a’a language database designed to make learning the Nisg̱a’a language easier and interactive. A free app is also available for download. firstvoices.com.
An incomplete Nisg̱a’a Dictionary is also available at First Voices. Go to the search box titled “Choose a Language,” scroll to “Nisg̱a’a,” click on “Learn Our Language.”
School District #92 (Nisg̱a’a)
Nisg̱a’a language and culture is integral to daily learning in Nisg̱a’a schools. While still incomplete, curriculum guides for K-3 and 5-12 can be reviewed at the School District #92 website.
School District #92 (Nisg̱a’a ) has a dedicated Culture & Language Department that fosters the use and study of the Nisg̱a’a language.
